Last year, 49 people registered with our department and helped raise almost $1K for the Coalition for the Homeless. The Coalition's Grand Central Food Program, which provides 1,000 warm, nutritious meals each night to homeless and hungry people on the streets of New York City.
Proceeds from the 8th Annual Turkey Trot will benefit the New School Food Pantry, a free emergency food service program available to all students and members of their household.
This year, we are hoping to make a larger impact with even more attendees and funds raised, so we are encouraging students and staff to get involved and join the fun! Interested participants can register online until 3:30pm on Friday, or Saturday site between 10:15-10:45am.
Registration is $15 for students/faculty/staff/alumni in advance. General public can also register for $20. Day of race registration will be $25.
The first 30 participants that registered will receive a participant shirt; all participants will receive a free drink card to JOE Coffee and a chance to win prizes from our sponsors (must be present after the race to win); and the top 4 finishers will receive medals.
